Honda do not sacrifice the performance and quality of their Quads with compromises. Unlike many manufacturers who build ATVs, Honda don't just adapt them from their motorbikes. We sell Honda ATVs because we know that their entire range of Utility Quads has been designed and built from scratch to be ATVs and not motorbikes with extra wheels.

Engines mounted longitudinally

The engine's crankshaft is in line with the frame, giving every Honda ATV a far smoother and more efficient drive. This design means effective transfer of power to the wheels while keeping the ATVs low centre of gravity for excellent stability.

Front limited-slip differential with AP Suretrac™ Torque-sensitive

Honda's patented system gives you absolutely excellent performance. Ensuring the engine's power is transferred to the wheels exactly where needed. The limited slip differential gives responsive and light steering even with the ATVs tight turning circle. (The AP SureTrac is only available on selected models)

TraxLok™ 2WD to 4WD system

A flick of a switch changes the ATV from two wheel drive performance manoeuvrability to four wheel drive traction and sheer grunt, while on the move. The unique system Honda have specifically developed for their ATV range is only available on selected models.

Electric Shift Program Gearing

Developed from Honda's own Formula One technology, the gearing system on Honda ATVs uses the Electric Shift Program ESP (only on ES models). This gives you smooth gear changes, with no of power at the touch of a button.

Low pressure tyres

Honda have specifically designed the tyres on their ATVs to leave as little damage as possible, with track impressions no deeper than that of a human footprint. Not only are they better for the environment but they give excellent performance on soft or muddy terrain.

Wide range gear ratios

Honda have built most of the ATVs in their utility range with five forward gears and one reverse. These are configured to deliver the maximum in pulling power even when the engine is at the lowest revs. This ‘Super-Low’ feature means that a Honda ATV can easily pull away under load in the harshest conditions. Even those which would leave many conventional vehicles or other utility ATVs spinning their wheels.
